Energy commodity management is a comprehensive approach designed to establish a long-term energy purchasing strategy and implementation plan in which Sieben Energy Associates and the client are partners. The service includes energy budgeting, procurement strategy development, procurement contract negotiation, energy price hedging and specific energy market evaluations.

SEA has long experience in energy commodity management. We have consulted on hundreds of millions of dollars worth of electricity and natural gas commodity transactions in nearly all deregulated energy markets in the United States.

We are unaffiliated with any utility or energy supplier and therefore have no self-interest in the final selection of supplier, term of contract, or energy purchasing transaction structure. Our sole objective is to identify the transaction that best meets our client’s business objectives to optimally manage their costs.
