Specialty Commissioning

Specialty Commissioning, or systems commissioning, focuses on the optimization of individual systems such as the building automation system, geothermal heat pump system, or a data center. Although the process is the same as for general building commissioning, the specialty commissioning approach allows clients to limit the scope of work to one or more critical areas.

Due to its focus on one or more individual components, specialty commissioning can be beneficial for small building projects or for construction projects with limited budgets where full-scale commissioning is cost-prohibitive.
