CHICAGO, IL - Sieben Energy Associates is proud to announce John D. Albrecht has joined the firm as Director of LEED Services. Sieben Energy Associates is a consulting firm offering energy efficiency, LEED, and energy management solutions.

John D. Albrecht has been a driving force for sustainability in Chicago for over fifteen years. In addition to being a founding member of the Chicago Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, John is the City of Chicago’s first LEED AP. He has coordinated numerous Green Building initiatives for the City including Mayor Daley’s Green Building Management Team, the Green Building Task Force, the Green Urban Design Committee, the City’s LEED Pilot Program, and he was instrumental in developing the City’s Environmental Action Agenda.

His unmatched expertise in LEED for New Construction, Existing Building, Commercial Interior, and Core & Shell projects is award winning and nationally recognized. John D. Albrecht is a registered architect in Illinois and Minnesota, a member of the American Institute of Architects, holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Board Certification, and is a LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP ID+C, and LEED AP EB+OM.
