CHICAGO, IL – Sieben Energy Associates (SEA) was honored recently with an Excellence in Engineering Award for 2010 from the Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). SEA received the award during the ASHRAE Chapter’s Annual Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, December 7, at the Metropolitan Club of Chicago in Willis Tower.
The award recognized the outstanding work of SEA’s retro-commissioning team on behalf of Baxter Healthcare for their seven-building headquarters complex in Deerfield, Illinois. The project achieved 4% verified energy savings and a corresponding reduction in Baxter’s monthly energy bills.
