A private real estate investment company that owned and managed more than 10 million square feet of suburban office space across the Sunbelt states hired Sieben Energy Associates (SEA) to consult with individual property managers regarding energy-related retrofit projects. Impressed with SEA’s performance and professionalism, the client contracted SEA as an energy advisor. In this role, SEA provided the client with a variety of energy management services that included energy audits, consultation on electric supply transactions, and support for all energy-related issues.

After accounting for the expense of the audits and implementation of the recommended measures that cost little or nothing, SEA’s energy audits resulted in a payback period of just slightly over one year on average.

 

Sieben Energy Associates also helped the client pay less for electricity regardless of usage levels by assisting in securing electricity in newly deregulating markets. In Texas alone, SEA helped our client reduce their operating costs by more than $5 million through timely electric supply transactions.
