The client's facility is a 63-story multi-use, 1,000,000+ square foot building, divided into retail, office, residential and garage spaces.

The building owners wanted to review the building’s energy-related systems and controls to ensure that they were functioning efficiently, and to identify necessary energy efficiency improvements. Sieben Energy Associates was asked to perform an energy audit on the 370,000 square feet of the structure devoted to offices.

We identified eight ECRMs that resulted in more than $100,000 in annual energy savings opportunities, or about 11 percent of the building’s total annual energy costs. Ultimately, improved energy efficiency not only reduced the building’s operational costs, but increased the marketability of its office space.
